1.	Much of the tourism of Coonabarabran is centred around the special location of the township for space observation. The major attraction is theSiding Spring Observatory which is one of the major observatories of the world. Visitors may also visit a smaller observatory, The Skywatch Observatory, which is located within the township, making access much easier.	2.
