	Just 1Km to the west of Hanging Rock (10Km from Nundle) is the turnoff to the lookout. The road in (about 1Km) is fairly rough but the spectacular views that it gives are more than worth the careful drive required.

	These two pictures are an interesting item that the photographer found whilst visiting Hanging Rock. This early example of a slab hut (possibly dating back to the late 1800's) had absolutely no information and was discovered by accident but it typifies the type of dwelling used by early miners and others in that era.
