The above three photos are of Campbell Park, which lies along the northern bank of the Macintyre River in the centre of Inverell.
94. The photo shows the park from across the river.
95. Shows a section of the park, alongside the weir which backs up a small lake area that is usually populated with ducks and other water birds, which can include, on occasions, swans and pelicans.
96. Shows the central area with its tiered seating, music rotunda and some of the children's play area.

Lions Park
Lions Park - 2008

Located on the southern bank of the Macintyre River, this park is a popular stopping point for travellers using the Gwydir Highway, as well as locals. It is a large open area with plenty of good parking along with spaces for those towing caravans. Access is approximately 500m west of the bridge over the Macintyre River, turning to the south, and is clearly signposted. It crosses over into the riverlands area on the other side of a small creek, which has large open spaces used for different activities.

Skateboard Park
Skateboard Park - 2008

On the southern bank of the Macintyre River adjacent to Lions Park. The Skateboard is a major feature of this area of riverlands park, which also hosts the softball field, a golf practice range and an exercising area for those with horses. A small footbridge connects this area with Lions Park.

This memorial park is located adjacent to the Gwydir Highway on the eastern side of town, adjacent to the East's Bowling Club.

Sinclair Park - 2008

This park, located on the northern side of the Gwydir Highway just outside the eastern boundary of the CBD, contains a number of memorials to the history of the Inverell District, including the Bicentennial Memorial. A feature of the park is memorials to the district's Scottish heritage.

Located on the north eastern corner of the CBD, this park is a large expansive and open area. There is an enclosed and covered children's play area. On the northwestern corner, is the town swimming complex.
