MOLE RIVER/MINGOOLA Tourism

This small rural community is located on the Bruxner Highway, 57Km west of Tenterfield. The duel name of the community reflects the names that the area is known by, as it is in the Mingoola area and lies on the edge of the Mole River.

Whilst basically rural, it is also the junction for the road to the Glen Lyon Dam which lies just 10Km away across the Queensland border.

In recent years, wine producing has become a growth industy in the area
