Yarrie Lake
This rather unique natural creation of nature lies approximately 28Km west of Narrabri and is a 3Km saucer shaped lake, found on the edge of the Pillaga Scrub.

Some believe it was formed as the result of a meteor strike, but whatever the cause, this sheltered expanse of water is home to over 70 species of birds.

Yarrie Lake is a destination for water lovers, nature lovers and campers alike as the facilities provided allow for a great time. All forms of water sport are found throughout the year.

The top six photographs are a panorama of the lake whilstthe remaining two photographs show some of the excellent facilities available to the public.
