The Hat Head National Park is located right on the coast and, as such, has a rich coastal environment. This includes what is probably one of the largest dune systems in New South Wales.

You can visit the Smoky Cape Lighthouse and stay in the Assistant Lighthouse Keepers's Cottages.

There is also camping sites available at Smoky Beach or Hungry Head.
