Northern New South Wales has some of the best national parks, unspoilt wilderness and World Heritage areas anywhere in Australia. There are many National Parks in our area and, with time, we will be adding to our selection until we have them all. Here is a gateway to them.
Rugged gorge country, scenic river flats, aboriginal painting sites, lush rainforest - bushwalkers of all ages will be delighted by the diversity and beauty of our highlands.
National parks offer a range of walks from 15 minute strolls to treks that may take days.
These walks and lookouts show our bush vista at its absolute best.
How to prepare for your outing
