The Nightcap National Park is located to the northeast of Nimben and West of Murwillumbah in the north of New South Wales.

This park contains some massive volcanic peaks, carryover from the very early geological history of Australia. The park contains the Minyon waterfall, an awesom 100m high falls located on the Whian Whian Forest Drive.

The park is home to a significant number of threatened flora and fauna including the Red-legged Pademelons and Albert's Lyrebird.

There are a number of picnic areas throughout the park along with some excellent walking trails.
