Tingha is a small village located just south of Inverell in the northern part of the state of NSW, Australia on the road between GUYRA and INVERELL. Once a prosperous mining township, it is now is a rural based community with fossicking as a popular tourist attraction.

The Wing Hing Long Museum

The Wing Hing Long Museum is an interactive view of the history of Tingha and well worth a visit when in the area.

The Tingha Gems Caravan Park

This is popular with tourists, with an amenities block and powered sites fronting on to the regions only natural swimming pool.

Green Valley Farm : Smith Museum and Mineral Collection

Green Valley Farm is located 10 kilometres east of the town on the Green Valley Road (just continue east along Ruby St. past the school, and Club). The farm has live-in farm holidays as well as a zoo and very popular playground with a very large waterslide. This place is a true family attraction.

The Museum houses antiques, bottles, glass stones, minerals and many more items. Ph: (02) 6723 3370.

Copeton Dam Recreation Reserve

This is a 49Ha recreation reserve on the eastern side of Copeton Dam. It is accessible as a day park only with its only entrance located on the Tingha to Bundarra Road.
