Westminster Rocks Area
Just to the north of Torrington, along a dirt road, is another part of the Torrington State Forest area that has it's own spectacular features.

You will need to leave your car and follow the clearly marked trails but the spectacular nature and the amazing natural carved features that are found in this section of the park are truly amazing. Some of the rock features leave nothing to the imagination as to what they are. The cavity that is known as the Westminster Rocks, is a huge natural cathedral.
