Uralla Schooling

Uralla, as small as the town is, has many great schooling institutions.

Uralla Area Education

Uralla offers a great deal to any student who attends a local school. The facilities around the local area are bountiful. The University of New England is located just 20 minutes from the town.

Uralla offers a regional library, with millions of books, circulated between branches regularly.

Trips are often arranged within schools, to Armidale, which has become known as a Town of Learning, because of is resources and the presence of so many Educational nstitutions.

St. Joseph's Catholic School

The school is located on the northern side or Uralla and caters for the catholic families of the district.

Rocky River Public School

Located just a few kilometres west of Uralla in the old Gold mining village of Rocky River, the school offers a very rural atmophere for its students.

Uralla Central School

Uralla Central is a smaller school that offers even more than bigger ones. Subjects such as Ag are popular, because of the School Farm, and the opportunity to really work with animals. This opportunity is not available at some of the citybound school. Uralla Central is technologically up-to-date, with a vast amount of computer equipment.
