Dangars Lagoon
Dangar's Lagoon is a wildlife sanctuary just 4.3Km south of Uralla on the Walcha Road. The Lagoon is home to a myriad of birds, particularly following good seasons that leave the area with plenty of water.

The site is a popular attraction for bird lovers of all levels as they seek to count the nummber of different species to be seen. There is a bird watching spot on the southern section, although the sights can be seen just as easily from any point.

The top two photographs show the approaches to the Laggon from Uralla, whilst the remaining photographs give an idea as to the extent of the birds that can be found including black swans and many different duck species.
