Pindari Dam lies 26Km to the east of Ashford and has a variety of activities to offer the individual from relaxation through fishing to all manners of water sports such as skiing.
To the northwest lies the The Kwiambal National Park where the visitor can enjoy the native flora and fauna.
Whilst at the park, take the time to visit the Macintyre Falls, which are a series of drops forming these spectacular falls. The large displaced rocks at the base of the falls provide a rather unique reflections in the rock pools. Walkways take you to the lookout , the top of the falls, a natural beach and the rock pools.
Also to be found in the National Park is the Limestone Caves. A complete tour of the site will take the average person about an hour to do with the main cave being nearly 550 metres long.
