View of the Horton Falls
Lying 38Km to the west of Barraba on the road to the Kaputar National Park, the Horton Falls provide a great place for the hiker, camper and general visitor.

Water flow over the falls is subject to favourable conditions but, as these photographs show, can be quite spectacular.

The visitor can walk to the top of the falls from the car park in about 10 minutes. A more spectacular walk, taking at least 1.5 hours, is the trip to the bottom of the falls. The trail for this walk is clear and you get a really good view of the bush as well as the base of the falls.. The trail down is fairly steep and it is only recommended for those who are physically fit.
