The Village of Taylors Arm
This quite village settled back into the mountains gives no hint of its world fame.

The Pub With No Beer is the subject of a very famous song written by Gordon Parsons and made famous (with a number 1 hit right across Australia) by Country reccording star, Slim Dusty. The full origins of the song are not completely known, however, it is believed to have arisen from a bush poem by Dan Sheahan that was given to Gordon. He reworked the poem and added some of the songs characters to create the now famous song.

Visitors can be rest assured that the beer flows quite well at the 'Pub' and the visit to this place is well worth the experience.
